Toddlers First Steps
Healthy Families BC provincial resource on parenting your toddler. In this resource, a toddler is defined as a child between six and 36 months (3 years), includes breastfeeding your toddler.
BC Provincial Women’s Milk Bank
Information about the Provincial Milk Bank, becoming a donor, and, accessing donor milk.
The Attorney General of BC stated that nursing mothers have the right to breastfeed their children in a public area, and it is discriminatory to ask them to cover up or breastfeed somewhere else.
This right is protected by British Columbia’s Human Rights Code.
